EMPANDAS STORING & COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

To Store

  • This package ships frozen with ice packs
  • Ice packs may thaw in transit
  • Upon arrival, place immediately in the freezer
  • May be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months

To Serve

To Traditional Fry (Our empanadas taste best when fried):

For the best taste, our Empanadas are traditionally fried, but they can also be prepared in an air fryer! (To achieve optimal flavor, avoid microwaving the empanadas.)

  • To prepare, allow the desired amount of Empanadas, to thaw in the refrigerator or countertop for 1-2 hours & remove from platic packaging
  • Heat 2-3 inches of vegetable oil in a large heavy skillet over medium heat (350°F). Fry the empanadas in the hot oil for approximately 3 minutes or until they turn golden brown, remembering to flip them halfway through the cooking time.
  • After frying, place the empanadas on a plate lined with paper towels to drain.

Let them cool for 5 minutes before serving.

To Air Fry

  • Remove the desired number of empanadas from packaging. Allow the Empanadas, to thaw in the refrigerator or countertop for 1-2 hours & remove from platic packaging
  • Brush the empanadas with butter or oil
  • Air Fry at 350 F for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Flipping halfway through.
