EMPANDAS STORING & COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
To Store
- This package ships frozen with ice packs
- Ice packs may thaw in transit
- Upon arrival, place immediately in the freezer
- May be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months
To Serve
To Traditional Fry (Our empanadas taste best when fried):
For the best taste, our Empanadas are traditionally fried, but they can also be prepared in an air fryer! (To achieve optimal flavor, avoid microwaving the empanadas.)
- To prepare, allow the desired amount of Empanadas, to thaw in the refrigerator or countertop for 1-2 hours & remove from platic packaging
- Heat 2-3 inches of vegetable oil in a large heavy skillet over medium heat (350°F). Fry the empanadas in the hot oil for approximately 3 minutes or until they turn golden brown, remembering to flip them halfway through the cooking time.
- After frying, place the empanadas on a plate lined with paper towels to drain.
Let them cool for 5 minutes before serving.

To Air Fry
- Remove the desired number of empanadas from packaging. Allow the Empanadas, to thaw in the refrigerator or countertop for 1-2 hours & remove from platic packaging
- Brush the empanadas with butter or oil
- Air Fry at 350 F for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Flipping halfway through.
